Privacy Policy

Governing law: State of Florida, United States. Operator: MD WATER LLC, doing business as The Intelligence Guide (“we,” “us”).

This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit ai.gotig.net, use our AI voice and messaging services, or connect a Meta / WhatsApp Business account. It is written for a U.S. audience. We do not operate as a European “controller” under GDPR unless a written addendum says otherwise.

1. Who this covers

• Website visitors and agency clients (insurance agencies that buy our service). We are the business that collects that information.
• People who message or call an agency using our AI (the agency’s customers). For that data we act as a service provider to the agency. The agency is responsible for its own notices to those people (including call-recording and WhatsApp disclosures under Florida and federal law).

2. Information we collect

• Contact details you submit (name, agency name, email, phone).
• Account and billing information for paying clients.
• Call and chat content needed to run the service: voice recordings and transcripts, WhatsApp / SMS / web-chat messages, phone numbers, and timestamps.
• If you connect WhatsApp or Facebook Login for Business: identifiers and permissions Meta provides so we can send and receive messages on your agency’s behalf (WhatsApp Business Account IDs, phone numbers, message content).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic logs to operate and secure the site.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers or full payment-card numbers in chat or voice AI, and we instruct the AI not to collect them.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve the AI answering and inbox service.
• Reply to WhatsApp, SMS, voice, and web chat as the client agency.
• Show conversations and leads to the client agency.
• Customer support, security, fraud prevention, and to meet legal obligations.
• Send service and (where permitted) marketing email to agencies who asked for pricing or signed up. You may opt out of marketing email.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Meta Platform Data to advertise to a client’s end customers, and we do not sell that data.

4. How we share information

We share information with:

• The client insurance agency that owns the conversation.
• Vendors that help us run the product (for example hosting, email, telephony, and AI processing such as Twilio and voice/AI providers), under contracts that limit use to providing the service.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. when you use WhatsApp or Facebook Login, as described in Meta’s terms and this policy.
• Authorities if required by U.S. law, or to protect rights and safety.

If we are involved in a merger or sale of MD WATER LLC / The Intelligence Guide, information may transfer to the successor, still subject to this policy.

5. Meta / WhatsApp (Tech Provider)

When an agency connects WhatsApp through our app, we process WhatsApp Business data only to provide that agency’s messaging service: sending and receiving messages, showing an inbox, and related support. Agencies authorize our app to access their WhatsApp Business Account. We do not use that data to build unrelated profiles or to sell ads.

6. Retention

We keep client account data for the life of the account and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. Conversation records are kept as needed to provide the service and as the client agency directs, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time after termination unless law requires longer retention.

7. U.S. privacy rights

Depending on your state (including California, where applicable), you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold as a business, and to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@gotig.net. We will verify the request as required by law. This does not require us to delete information we must keep, or information we process only as a service provider for an agency (those requests should go to that agency as well).

To request deletion of data associated with our Meta app, email info@gotig.net with the subject “Meta data deletion” and the Facebook or WhatsApp identifiers you can provide.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the site or service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
